Our building was contructed in the 1908 for the Belgrade export bank by Milan Kapetanovic a renowned Serbian architect
The building at Prince Marko’s Street no. 6 was erected for the needs of the Export Bank and it served as a warehouse, while the main bank building was on Terazije 5. It is characterized by unique architectural expressions characteristic of the beginning of the XX century in Belgrade.
It was a new modern expression of architecture at that time, which occurs as a result of the fact that it is located at the crossroads of east and west, north and south, and such a geographic position contributed to the diverse influences which are also reflected in the architecture of the entire city.
